Put another myth to bed.
Actually two myths:
1. Buck meat is tough
2. The meat gets tough if the animal does not die quickly.
Well this is the 9 pointer I took in October and unfortunately I didnít make a perfect shot and I had to finish the job two hours later.
This was the most tender piece of meet I ever had.
Where there's smoke there's fire though, no? I've never had overly tough buck meat, but I've heard people complaining a few times over the years.
Shot a buck last year, meat was tender!
