Muzzy trocar crossbow is the most accurate broad heads I have shot ...I used to shoot the rage which are really good but I think these are better and if you shoot it in cominbination with the aerobolt G3 arrows it's awesome but the aerobolts are $25 a piece

Did you use rage for crossbow or regular Rage broadhead for vertical bow.
How do you know it opened early?
Hey Lunatic,

I just got a Mission Sub-1 and got 2 packs of the Rage Hyperdermic broadheads for the crossbow. It seems like the major difference in the broadheads is the pressures that the mechanical blades open It feels and looks like the "collars" are thicker and need more pressure to break the "petals" for the blades to deploy.

Muzzy has a new mechanical broadhead for x-bows that does not use retaining collars. Reviews I have read are all positive. I use Muzzy 3-bladed fixed with excellent results.
