Order them from Cabelas. I get the leather ones with my name and phone number printed on them in case a dog gets away from me. Hopefully somebody would call me if they came across a lost doggie.

I had just got a beeper collar for my point at cabelas this year. I am sure that thedeeper collar in good for that too. were I hunt you need a bell or something because you are in thick cover and it hard to see your dog.

i caught a beagle in a snare last year. had a name and number on it.
i called, owner let a guy borrow a few to hunt the glassboro st woods, three weeks earlier. this dog went about 4 miles and found a trail of fox urine, right into my snare.
i took the dog to the guy, happiest i've ever seen an old man. he tried to give me money for the dog, then for gas. just seeing the look on the guys face was enough to make my day.
get one if your hunting that dog, it could follow a deer for a long way.
