I think he's the same one. I wish I could see that curly main beam in the other picture. That's a definite give away.
Look at where the G2 tines come off of each beam. Looks like the same configuration.

We will have to wait and see if my son gets a shot at him.. These pictures are less than 40 yards from his stand hope to draw him out into a clear lane..

When the deer is on the ground, you will easily have a better look. Good plan.

Either or the same or 2 different it's a good buck. I wanna say on a whim it's the same buck. BUT! The angles on the 2 pics makes it really hard to tell if their the same. The neck on the buck in the night shot looks to be very large, however (only from what I can see , like I said the angle is bad) the daylight pic the neck dosen't look so big. I don't know maybe it's me but the daylight pic buck his G2 looks bigger. IMO

they are not the same deer!! when judging a bucks rack in a picture or in real life you need to find a reference point on the animal which will put it into scale for example a bucks ear is aprox 7" long and from tip of nose to ear is around 10" or more the g2 on the left side of the buck in the pic from 11/7/08 is clearly longer hopefully this helps;)

Antlers look thicker and heavier on the second buck, although it's hard to tell the neck on the deer in the first pic is huge. I'd say there is two different deer there. I'd shoot the first one you see they're both nice.

My son was in his stand but he was watching the field edge where the does come from... He really can't see where the scrapes are we need to cut lanes into this area..We just found the scrapes two days ago and set up the camera really thought it was a small 6 that was taken out last saturday that was making the scrape. Never imagined that an 8 was running this area..we will be after him tomorrow...

looks like a different one. Horns on the second are longer than the one in the first different g1 and 2's. Looks like time for work:D

He is a nice deer. The biggest I've seen back there since the summer of '06. That includes glassing the beans this summer and the time my camera has spent in those woods.
Def call me, I'd like to see him on the ground.
