They know how the system works. They think we don't deserve it. They're repulsed by the fact that we think we can ask for it.
They're not telling people the whole story.
It's more than an issue of principle - it's an effort to keep us in our place. We've been pressed under their thumb for so long that they're willing now to even show that they can snap our scrawny necks.
They know that if we win this one more will follow and they'll will lose control over us.
Sierra Club, HSUS, NJNYTC have made this the hill they will die on...
