Guys
Tried some Blackhorn 209 last trip to the range. 777 leaves a crud ring in the barrel that binds my jag, requiring a range rod to clear between shots.
209 cleaned up with two wet patches, plus two dry. When I got home, the bore didn't need much else.
I am pleasently surprised. It's also supposed to give slightly higher velocities. WIN/WIN.
I'de love to hear your comments/input on black substitutes and bullets that give you the best groups.
In my case, the ShokWaves go down easy and group well, while the Hornady 250s were 'tight' it my Encore. I haven't tried any others yet. What works for you?
