Hey Ace,
Is there a link directly to the people that live in the areas. I think I would rather talk with the people who live in the area than those that just work in the area. I must talk with 50 people in the Tioga/Potter Co. areas about deer hunting (or lack of) during the season and out of season, the response I get is just about the same "It Ain't Working" Is there any talk about going back to the old system, two weeks buck, 2 to 3 day's doe, seem hunting was more enjoyable back then.

A link? I don't think so. I'm just posting this for ppl conserned about Pa's deer and elk. Since you are so passionate about the subject you should call in and express your opinions. I'm sure they would love to answer any question you have.

The residents do have chances to speak publicly with the PGC. Every open house meeting. Just look on their web site for the next closest meeting to you. All you have to do is look. The open house meetings move all the time so that ppl from all over Pa can get to one. Try going sometime they are VERY informative.

Hey Ace,
We got to get together sometime, I'll buy you a drink. Passionate would be a under statement. I wrote two letters to the PGC did not get a response to either one, I guess they got loss in the mail (2x) Sitting in a room listing to a bunch of guy's explaining what there doing is not for me. I like the hands on approach myself. I have a lot of people that I talk with either face to face or telephone (recently E-mail) I was told my a friend in Tioga Co. when I was there for his daughters wedding to just stay home this season, it ain't worth coming up. He said nice bear in the area but no deer. One thing I don't need is another bear. But I would like to get that 8 or 10 pointer. My friend that lives there has posted "No doe hunting" signs on his property, this will be his second year. If he feels this strong about the problem why would I go to a PGC meeting and hear how great things are going. Hey, who knows, maybe this year will be different.
And you see I'm not being childish by not responding, just frustrated on the new system...
Hey, I'll still buy you that drink ! !
