the truth is any pattern that breaks up your outline is fine.i wear real tree and somrtimes timber ghost ,but i sometimes where just a pair of jeans sweat jacket and flannel shirt that have been scent eliminated with baking soda.i do use camo pillover hat to hide my eyes and glow of face.i have found no difference in deer noticing.(flannel fall colors).i also hunt 20 feet up and if deer can distinquish me then its usally dead.:D
