So here I was driving back from the movies on Saturday night and lo and behold, there stands an 8-point waiting for his turn to cross the road at 9:40.
A quarter mile further along, there's a road killed doe.
The rut must really be kicking in.
And here I was thinking I'de never see one this year . It was sure nice to see him. So much for you 'there are no deer this close to town' guys.
I'll be back out there next year, but this year, I'm out of the game.
