hey guys took my son hunter (10) on the youth pheasant hunt in millville. i was so proud of my son being the first to actually take his very first bird on a totaly awsome shot he attributes to call of duty 4 and halo.lol this bird got up and flew,and flewm,and flew we were all wondering if he was gonna even try but at about 40 yrds away he pulls trigger on his single barrel one shot 20 gauge and just dusted this cock bird .iwas so excited i almost bust a teer.(hopefully no women reading) everyone there was like whoa awsome shot . you should have seen his face, ill never forget it as he was glad to get one for his dad. it is in freezer going to taxidermist. just wanted to share with yous all:):):)

awesome, that is definately a great program that the state offers to the kids. did it 4 or 5 times in the past with my step son and his buddie. congrats to both of you as i can feel the sense of pride and happines that you are refering to. bb

grtwht - Hunter will never forget that experience. And he'll never let YOU forget that great shot that he made either! I don't even have kids and I look forward to the day when I can expose them to the hunting/fishing heritage that I grew up with. Good job!

Hope you have plans to get it mounted. My son, his first trout, first pheasant, whatever, I had mounted. He keeps them at his house now and all I get is questions from the grandsons, pop-pop, when are you taking me hunting with you, there 7 & 5 now, it won't be long...:thup:
