Currently I'm shooting a 4" vanes (Beman ICS 400 gr). If I decided to go with the blazer vanes at the same arrow weight and brand, will this greatly effect my shot?

It will, but to what degree will depend on a few things.

The additional speed you will gain may make a 1 to 2 inch difference at 20 to 30 yards.

Some say the wind has less affect on the Blazers, but I never tested nor was able to tell that one way or another.

My thought would be that if you have good form, a tuned bow and arrows that are spined and assembled correctly the Blazers will be as accurate with a flatter flight meaning less drop from 10 to 20 to 30 yards etc. However, if you lack one or a number of those things, the Blazers will fly funny, especially with a fixed BH and the 4 inch vanes will help make up for the deficiencies and be easier to deal with.

Clearance issues can be a problem Blazers. The profile is a bit taller. I have a bow that I never got Blazers to the point of clearing. If it they weren't hitting the cables they were hitting the rest.
