I had the pleasure of meeting Ellie a 2 year old red retriever a while back. She was a termite dog, and just the sweetest calmest retriever id ever seen. Her trainer said that for the most part Elly was a typical Red, calm and very loyal she also added they make great small game and bird dogs. Im wondering if any one here has had any expierence with one.
