Matt,
If my memory serves me correct, I have the smaller bow. I'll measure tonight. We can work out a lay away program LOL.

I have an 04 VTECH. I love the cam and 1/2" that HOYT uses. These bows are very quiet and forgiving. Been looking at the new HOYT but I cant convience myself there is anything wrong with mine.

i finally picked up a vtec and have shot it with good success i think my old bow was a vipertec and not a vtec.. but i am very happy with this bow so far.. there was a rep in whitetail archery down past conowingo md that convinced me to shoot the new hoyt alphamax yesterday.. and there is no reason to switch.. use what works for you of course but the alphamax sounds like a good bow.. it was lightweight and veryyy very smooth. i got a free hat and decal just for trying her out. but i was truly impressed.

I almost bought the Vtec and the trykon had just arrived at the bow store the night I showed up. I absolutley love it. They dont make the one I shoot anymore but I shot the alpha max last week and it is smooth as the day is long and forgiving, very impressed. I'm sold on hoyt but the bowtech general is a great bow as well.
