Gunsmith for stock revision

Hello all. I have an over/under 12 ga that I rarely use because the gun does not "fit right" when I shoulder it to shoot. It does not line up quickly to the eye. I need a gunsmith in Phila or So Jersey who understands and can do work to the butt end of the stock. I think it needs to be cut down a bit and I can do it but am hesitant to do so because of the screw up potential. Any recommendations on the gunsmith? Thanks for all replies.
