Out and about tonight around Tinicum

And saw lots of deer around sunset (6:15 or so) and quite a few bucks. An 8 point and a 6 point were hanging out together by a pond on one of the back roads I was cruising on. All of the activity was around the Rt 611 and 113 area in PA. My 20 month old duaghter thinks grunting is funny too :)

Wardman - I know what you mean. 113 is always a good spot to see deer. And, if you head east to the river from the intersection you mention, it is just unbelievable with wildlife. Wish I new someone with property back there!

I live very close to that area and have seen some real nice bucks over the years off of that road. :)

A right from the Exxon and back all through there.

Then again... this afternoon an 8 point comes strutting past my front door like he knows no one can shoot him in my area of Buckingham. I wish there were a bit more woods around here and I'd sneak out an work on him (it's a development). I grunted to stop him and trie dot snap a photo but too late; he had all ready moved past the house.

Now's he laying in between the hosues on the gas line. Nice to watch!

Yea, I hunt all back around there. Buckingham however has very nice bucks but with the houses it makes things hard now. Even up in Tinicum its 10 acres here and there. It is still very tight up there. Things are getting tight were we live, but there are plenty of farms in the buckingham area but all surrounded my homes. Where are you going to be opening day? Tinicum?

We go out to Centre Cty. This year though, I have a newborn (coming Wednesday) so I'm probably out and living vicariously through this site :).

Hey,
No I didnt. I came home opening day and that was it for archery. I am still working on finding something up here but it looks like I wont be. I am blowing off classes opening day of rifle and thats it. I will see what happens.
