here we go.my son had off school today i didnt know.he calls lastnight saying he wants to go.im like um ok it was my turn but u can go.lol.same routine as sat. up 430 drove to 2 spots hit owl call. only this time they responded.yea.(oh stinking rainin again).we pick an area ( my not so secret spot nomore).and wait a little for rain to stop.we head in get to spot 545.yikes gettin way light out. we set up got in blind and i hit the call..gobble gobble.lol so were excited get ready and wasnt 8min bird is in our face coming to deke.hunter trys to get gun up slow and then shoots. bird down. im so excited i rip open blind to see bird dont go no where turn around to hug my son and hes covered in blood!!!!holy shit. he learned a hard lesson. put gun in crotch of arm firmly.he has single 20 hr.the dam hammer clocked him in forehead from recoil..we used these super mag shells that packed a wallop.he got ready to cry and jump for joy at same time. i peped him up we jumped up and down and got our bird. my boy was blood fromm his face to arms.i took off t shirt and held on his head to stop bleeding. all worked he was a trooper. we even set up again 100 yrds away trying to get mine. it was hot as hell and sticky.we left them goblin i felt we had a good enough morning and wanted to clean him up. hows that for a hunt start 545 done 6am.lol.p.s. thats y he has turbin head.lol
