Roosted birds in zone 15

[Buck Tales]

Nitrouswamprat and myself went to zone 15 this morning trying to beat the storm and hear some birds waking up. We heard several birds gobbling even though the wind was kicking up. We walked a short distance and the deer were all over the place. This part of zone 19 which gets pounded during deer season showed us why so many people like to hunt it. When we came back to the truck, sure enogh there are 2 sets of deer tracks right by the truck. LOL!!!! I had a blast with Nick scouting a little bit and we even seen hen turkey walking the road as we were driving out. Can't wait til next weekend, I'm already having sleeping issues. :nuts:

I cant hunt till may 16th (d week) and am already goin crazy!! Right now I am wearing all my camo gear lol. Getting everything ready. I will take out a few friends who have not got one yet and there kids. I show them the ropes :D. But I leave for vacation Friday so got to wait 1 more week!!

very cool morning. All those tasty morsals running around. Mmmm. what I would have given for it to be january and have my 12 ga loaded with 1buck.:D Those deer made us look silly (not hard to do in my case)....the deer prints in your tire tracks was classic.
