Lucky you brother, that first pic looks to be a triple beard with really good hooks. Unless my eyes are crazy, it looks like a small beard at the top with a larger one right on top of the main beard, which is very sweet all by itself. Make sure you get some nice pictures opening morning and let us know if it is a double or triple beard. One last question, are you on my team yet? LOL!!!:D

Yea it is def a double bearder perhaps triple. two years ago I got a double very similar to him on the same property. 10 inch main beard with a nine inch beard on top. It had Inch and a quarter spurs. I think it's possible that this is his offspring because back then he was head turkey. I don't know how to age a bird but that turkeys feathers were grey and it was the toughest turkey I ever tasted. Buck tales if they go with three in the contest your welcome to jump onboard.
