I'm ready to start reloadiing again and will probably buy a Redding T-7 Turret Press. It's heavy duty enough for any of those calibers and I like the turret head and won't be reloading enough to justify the higher capacity and cost of a progressive press.

DILLON.

Need I say more?

If I needed a progressive press, Unami is correct - only DILLON!

I only reload shotgun shells but now the price of lead is very high. The only local place to sell reloading supplies is millers in delaware. If you order online you have to pay hazmat fees. Keep all of this in mind it may be cheaper to not reload.

I'm reloading for fun, not economy. It's true things are high now. But if I can produce better shells or bullets for around the same price as factory loads, is that a bad thing? BTW, my MEC shotshell press is also collecting dust right now!

Check out the Lee single stage press kit online. I'm useing mine now for some time and it is great. The kit comes with a scale and basically everything you need to start loading except the die for what ever you are going to load. I got mine through Midway and and love it. I don't reload enough to go with a progressive. I only do around 100-200 rounds a month. I bought 2 die sets when I got the press and I still didn't break $150 but I can reload all my 30-06 brass for the shoots each month for under $.40 each. Lee, the only press I'll probably ever need.

I use a RCBS rockchucker and love it i have reloaded thousands of rounds with it rifle and pistol . I do a lot of pistol shooting as i am in a bullseye league and reload all my ammo on it i just don't trust the progressive presses its just my personal opinion.

My advise seahunter is if you have never done any reloading I would invest in a single stage press such as a RCBS rock chucker. I've been reloading for over 30 years and when your first starting out you don't want anything but a single stage until you get some time under your belt. Progressive presses are good but you need to pay close attention to what your doing because there are more things to look for. There are plenty of books from different reloading companies such as Lyman, RCBS, Sierra and the list goes on to reference. Good luck and have fun I know I have after all these years.

I would stick with RCBS, been reloading rifle and magnum pistols for 19 years, since I was 17. I can under stand wanting to save cash, but you can get a set up with dies from RCBS, including scale, powder measure and trimer for less than 300 bucks. Just my opinion.
