t calling get together

I have been asked if there is any calling get togethers so people can hear and learn to call turkeys. A few years ago A few water fowl callers along with my self held calling nights, we would meet on a weekly night for a few weeks, talk, teach, show and other wise bs for sometimes 5 hourshttp://outdoors.appspot.com/images/lol.gifhttp://outdoors.appspot.com/images/eek.gif nothing but calling ducks and geese. many guys learned how to call the right way.

If some one who has a old barn or some place that a few guys can go I will help get a turkey calling thing going. this can go for a few weeks one night a week.

I can bring the redneck guys and I know there are a few others on here that would come and help the newer guys learn to call. That way we do not get into the yearly debate on calling before the season.http://outdoors.appspot.com/images/rofl.gif

This would be a free get together just guys getting together to call

to get the most out of this it will be 3 or 4 times so the guys can practice all week come back then cover more and go over again what they practiced. except for the mouth calls box and pots are easier to get than goose short reeds and duck calls. mouth calls we may need EMT on the spot or guys that know the chock and tot stuff LOL

most guys liked the nights but what ever works. the most we had at the water calling nights was 30 but I would think 10 to 12 would be a good turn out definitely make alot of noise LOL you got a spot over there?

It is easier to talk on the phone then back and forth on the Buck Barn. I want to talk to you about doing a few seminars with newcomers and youth hunters on proper turkey calling technique. We should have a friction division, youth division, mouth diaphragm division. And of course a few good judges to declare winners. We need to pick a weekend that is before turkey season and won't interfere with opening weekend of trout. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Thanks alot guys for thinking of me but I am book till the end of summer. I got 3 baseball teams and 2-3 practices a day. Plus fishing is right around the corner. I may stop in but cant say for sure.

I would love to learn some tricks on the box call. Never had much success with the Old Lynch box. Killed a bunch with the slate and diaphragm though. Regarding a spot, how about NJDEP Sicklerville Southern Region office, they have that conf room. Maybe Bob's Little Sport shop? The Grange bldg? VFW or Elks? Just some suggestions.
