ok been out and about looking for the birds in normal haunts. havent seen much as id think i should. i believe ther still flocked up pretty good around my area. yes im seeing some here and there but some big pieces of field and such have hardly any tracks yet .one of the states fields i walked is like 200 acres surrounded by dirt and sand. i walked perimeter 3 times in past week only saw 2 sets of tracks. how about u guys ?

if they was there last season they will be back again. if you are really worried go out before dawn and just relax and listen if you hear them you you will be ok.

oh im not worried just thought they would b more spread out by now eating bugs in the fields. i cant spot burn but one field had over 70 birds in it 2 weeks ago.and yes i actually counted them.lol.:D

Certainly seemed like a lot of jakes and 2 year olds around last year. Won't argue with that!

they are starting to break up by me or should I say south of me. but still some good size flocks. when the cover crops start to grow is when we will see full break up. up north I think they still have 2 weeks or more heck they are getting snow today LOL a hour drive north. LOL
