10/25 report

went out this morning and had a late flight again not many people out today me and another boat out there. we managed 2 teal, 1 blackduck. there were a good number of birds flying but i wasnt shooting very well. should of got some more but........it hapens ya know... the weather was great nice and windy overcast no rain till i pulled out the ramp.. all and all it was a great day..

went this morning not many guys .not as many ducks as last week acouple of sky busters shootin at the high flyers. go a hen mallard

finally got out this morning and managed to miss about a half a dozen ducks. It was beautiful out, nice light rain.... tons of geese, I admit I was very tempted to bust a few rounds at them, but I didn't..:naughty: probably would miss anyway....LOL

While walking down to the lake I heard what I thought to be Quail singing just as daybreak was coming.... I continued down the path towards the singing and sure enough I ran into a little covey of about six just sitting on a path singing away. I have hunted spruce run for over five years now and I have never seen a quail there, anyone know how or why they would stock quail with the season being a few weeks away, its a dog training area would they let them out for the dogs?

.... It was a beautiful day out in the woods and had a little action and saw lots of wildlife... I left smiling
