Just a reminder. Hope u pick a candidate that will preserve our fishing and hunting. Can't really tell as both of them are full of Sh&t! They just keepimg sayimg what ever will get them votes. This whole system pisses me off. Once I would like to be excited about somebody but I think these two guys are the worst in history EVER and both will turn out to be even worse in differnt ways than our last Pres. It seems like the worse you are, the further you go in politics. Now I even have to watch one of them delay the world series (GO PHILA!) to give a speech to the public (all bull) like he is already the Pres. 30 minute delay (game 5) for series due to puchased time by a candiadte. I won't even watch the channel till its over. Now the other guy will probally want to do the same and delay another game to keep it even. By the time these games get over it will be time to go work. NON PRESIDENTS should not be allowed to delay world series just because they have money to spend. Baseball is the national past time. It's private. It's for us not their bullsh*t politcal lying agenda.

I just want you to vote for what you think will be the lesser of the damage that will be done.Thats what I am doing. I may be wrong but at least I will be able to complain because i VOTED. Those who don't vote have no right to complain.

If the phillies we not in the WS i would boycott it!

Car- dont just be along for the ride. You have a privilege very few other nations afford their citizens. You owe it to yourself to THINK about the issues that matter and research the candidates and party decisions. To do otherwise is to give up and let someone else clear the trail. My cousin voted once in his life for McGovern, who lost. And hasnt bothered to vote since. His cup is empty and has no room to complain, since he isnt involved. Your opinion counts- especially in the booth.

carcrzy, I know exactly what your talking about. I talk with my friends about this new election. When they tell me who they're going to vote for (I'm sure you can guess where this is going) I say why. They say cause he's going to change thing. Then I ask WHAT? Nobody has ever given me an answer. They then just start to bash on McCain. I am extremely dissapointed in my generation in challenging what they are going to do. I also think they need to look up what Socalism is and read up on it. It sounds very similair to one of our canidates. Very scary thought.
The stock market may be really bad, and many other things going down the tubes too, but I still have food in my stomach, clothes on my back, roof over my head, some fuel in my tank. People need to realise what they have and just be happy for it. I have a great family and we all work together. We don't need the government to take care of us. When I was in college I can honestly saw I maybe spent $30 total the entire time in college on beef. Needless to say deer what something I depended on. I paided my way through most of my college education. Yes, it stunk in the beginning, but now I have almost zero debt. I survived. Don't get me wrong I love venison, but sometimes eating it everyday can be a lil old. Morle of what I'm trying to say sometime you have to do things because you have too. You survive and move on. Things aren't really that bad. Your breathing, eating and living then your ok. Their is a big difference between this stock market crash and the one of the 20's and 30's. And look some of those people are still around today and ya know what they say this market crash is nothing compared to the first one.

I don't know if anybody has ever heard of a post turtle. Osoma sorry I mean Oboma is a post turtle. You ask what is a post turtle? Well put it this way. How did that turtle get ontop of that post (turtles can't climb), who put him up there, what is he doing up there? Just a thought to dwel on.

Post turtle, that's great! Do you mind if I use that ACE?
BHO's claim to fame is he wants to be POTUS. I can't beleive McCain's rotten luck. Served US of A interests all his life. He should have had to run against the Hilderbeast.
I work for my self. I have never asked for or received from the Gov. anything that I didn't fully pay for. I say Repubs. need to get back to it's roots. Small Gov. Help your self. Do your part.
Car can you give us a hint about the Stern interveiw? I don;t do youtube.

sure in the interview he sends one of his guys to harlem asking questions about the election he would go up to a group of people and ask them if they would say who they were in favor of and if they said obama he would ask questions like "so what do you think of his choice of Palin, a woman, as his VP cantidate" and they said "i think its great he made the right choice. "now what do you think of McCains choice of Biden and the responce was " i dont agree i think hes currupt like the rest of all politicians ect. and they did the same with stuff like how do you feel about obama's strance on "pro life" and would get the same type of answers. it went on for a while with many topics just unbeleivable you know

Obama's "Joe the Hunter" moment has finally come

10/27/2008 - 18:01.By Chad D. Baus
Barack Obama has voted for or supported some of the most extreme gun control measures ever attempted in our nation. And yet, with the help of his media accomplices, the Democrat has managed to lull some gun owners into complacency, just as he has managed to lull many hard-working, red-blooded American workers into complacency by obscuring his socialist economic agenda.
Thanks to one simple question from Joe the Plumber on the campaign trail, Americans now know about Obama's plan for wealth redistribution (http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/printable/node/6158). And thanks to one simple answer to an interview question, Obama has given "Joe the Hunter" all he needs to know about where he really stands on the right to bear arms.
It has often been observed that the real Obama comes out when you get him off the tele-prompter. In Toledo, Ohio with Joe the Plumber, it was the expression of a desire to "spread the wealth around". And now, in an interview (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/outposts/2008/10/john-mccain-b-1.html) with the Los Angeles Times, Obama has finally committed his "Joe the Hunter" moment.
From the story:When asked about whether a general ban on carrying loaded guns in national parks should be eliminated, the answers were sharply different and somewhat predictable.
McCain, who is against gun control, stated: "I believe the National Park Service and the Fish and Wildlife Service should remove their prohibitions against law-abiding citizens transporting and carrying firearms to lands managed by those agencies."
Obama, who is against assault weapons and a gun show loophole that allows trading of weapons between private individuals, stated: "I believe in Second Amendment rights and the rights of hunters and sportsmen to bear arms and use them in a responsible way. But I am concerned about allowing loaded firearms into family-oriented spaces."
While Barack Obama claims to be a constitutional scholar, he appears to have missed the words "shall not be infringed" and instead believes that the Second Amendment contains the word "but".
"I believe in Second Amendment rights and the rights of hunters and sportsmen to bear arms and use them in a responsible way. BUT I am concerned about allowing loaded firearms into family-oriented spaces."
And with that, the McCain/ Palin campaign has just been handed their "Joe the Hunter" moment, and they need to use it to their full advantage over the next seven days.
America's gun owners enjoy the right have loaded firearms in family-oriented spaces all the time. In fact, it is loyalty to family that inspires many to keep a loaded firearm ready at hand for home defense. It is loyalty to family that motivates a mother to carry a concealed firearm for the protection of her children while, for example, hiking on a secluded park trail. It is loyalty to family that motivates a father to invite his young son or daughter into the field on opening day, or to the range for an afternoon of plinking. "Joe the Hunter" understands this implicitly. Barack just thinks they're all bitter clingers.
When it comes to Obama and the Second Amendment, you'll never hear him utter his supposed support without the follow-up:
"But..."

And thanks to his "Joe the Hunter" moment, we have a late-October admission of the excuse Obama will use as he signs the first gun control law of his administration.
"I am concerned about allowing loaded firearms into family-oriented spaces."

"Joe the Hunter" should be deeply concerned about Obama's concern.
