:thdown::huh: hey guys as of 3 this am hammonton is smoked in went to go hunting this morning smoke so thick i opened truck door and in it went. i tried to drive out of my street and ran of road twice no sh-t. its 915 am and cant see 4 ft past front door. my whole house is smoked as well as all my hunting clothes.it makes you sick after awhile.erie also. also anybody see the fire on piney hollow rd in the woods also.it was big im trying to go check it out but cant get out of neiborhood:please:

WOW! Is the fire still burning as we speak? I might have to take a ride up that way today to snap some pics!

i believe so its now 10:08 and its starting to move but still can only see50yrds out my front door. im not kidding i could not leave my street this am. whole place is smoke filled.

We were smelling wood smoke in West Deptord this morning. With the wind direction being east south east to south east, I'd bet that is what we smelled?

Most definitely Phil, not only could you smell it, you could see it. Looked like fog on my way up 295 to work this am, but it was smoke....from the fire.

night is here no smoke in sight. just the remnants in the house. i love the smell of wood burning but this was brutl. all is well

I was happy this morning to get home from being stuck in the back of the truck for 2 days straight! Well that did not last long as i was awoken after only 4 hours asleep to be called out to put water on another fire! The bright side of it was it was only 5 minutes away from home! I was there from 9-5:30 and i finally might get some sleep tonight. The fire in wharton is nothing to really worry about now as it is all within fire breaks now! I heard them call the trucks in for the piney hollow rd fire around 2:30 yesterday and as far as i know it only burned around 25 acres and was under control last night.:bow:

pinecone you r the man.believe it or not i drove rite into the piney hollow fire on my way tohunt elsewhere. yes that fire ended up in a swamp i hunt. i feel you guys , but thanx:thup:
