Wow, I was poking around in the members list and noticed that there are LOTS of Buck Barn members joining all the time with ZERO posts.

If you sort the Member List by number of posts, you'll see we currently have 3 members with the "Veteran Barner" status: Ole 20 Point, ub123, and grtwhthunter/fisherman :thup:

Pretty cool! The Buck Barn has been in existence for <3 years and we have "veteran" members already :thup:

good luck with this ole 20 this is about the time of year this site pretty much shuts down. I guess everyone heads over to the bassbarn. It is a sad time I am one here everyday dont know what Ill do with myself. Well actually I be fishing but I will still miss deer season.

Although traffic does begin to decrease this time of year, overall visits to the site are up 40% over last year :)

this is the time we should b posting more to chase the cabin fever away.maybe we should have a photo contest or something. everyone with a camera should place them in spots and see who gets a buck with antlers the latest in the season. it would keep us in the woods and actually b a form of scouting.Or everyone should change there names and everyone try to figure out whos who by there post lol. One last thing if all you guys were to look on other barn under dry dock youll see theres plenty to chat about....minus politics...lol. :thup:

Ya know we should do a BuckBarn 3D shoot, trap shoot, match shoot, 3 gun, etc I dunno anything. After hunting season dosen't have to be our "lull" time. We may not be able to hunt, but since we're not in the stand we can start putting names to faces. Help out on someones land, dinners, really anything.

My season was awful. Between bow, Muzzle and shotgun, I got a big fat GOOSE EGG. I got one shot all season with a bow and missed. I saw tons of deer, but just never got shots this year. I hunted a new property and I just did not get the hang of how to get deer in. Maybe I should have stuck to McDonalds. I sure would have eaten better than I did hunting.:mad:

Yeah I lost power at my lab for 4 days. Verizon decided to go on strike the day before I was supposedf to have enter net installed at my house. Just can't win. Ive been working with JerseyGsp and his dogs since ive joined the site and i have to say these are the best working dogs ive seen out of all the dogs i've hunted with:bow: Jerseygsp puts alot of time in with his pups and they seem to know exactly what he wants when he wants it from them:thup: I plane on getting 2 working dogs myself soon and have him train them just like he trained his dogs!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIS GSP'S:luv:

Well i guess i'm the newest one on here, so i'm just doing my parts and hitting this post up. :)


I have helped with a few other sites ( racing) and most are also slow. Only a few well know drag racing sites are hot all year round. Most Seasonal sites always get slow in the off season.

Get the word out there and they will come..:D
