dont get frustrated bowhunting can be very humbling.have fun and be safe. practice shooting but dont over do it you can develope terrible habits when you are tired. keep your gear and equipment simple there is a lot of gadgets out there that are worthless i think ive bought half of them. most stuff you will have to learn by trial and error, just when you think you have it figured out something else goes wrong. good luck and welcome to the club.

What is with all the Mullica Hill folks around here? I've said it once and I'll say it again, no wonder I can't find any place to hunt around here! :)

Anyways, Lilhunter, if I had to do it again, I'd find a bow that I shot well, get it tuned, zero it in with whatever broadheads you choose to shoot, and than not touch it for two years. You have too much else to learn and figure out. You don't need to worry about figuring out a new bow, rest, sight etc. each year.

Make your practice count. Bob said it, you might shoot 100 arrows, but only the ones that you shoot before you start to fatigue are doing you any good.
