looking for areas in se pa to hunt. want to try fields and so on. maybe in the next few weeks. i don't have a dog but i still want to try it once at least.

Nockamixen, SGL 157, and 196. Thats what I like to hit up. Also you might want to look into farm co-op lands. They're still prvate farms so you still have to ask permission, but if they are posting they're land as co-op obviously they want hunters around. Farm co-op's are an extremely overlooked resource.

Try the SGL near Blue Marsh Lake in Berks County. It is a large SGL, about 5000 acres, and heavily stocked with pheasants. You can't go wrong there.

Nockamixon don't go on the weekend:naughty:. I've kicked up grouse & woodcock there years ago. Stocked birds too.

Yeah Nockamixen was a PARKING LOT yesterday. I didn't go, but I heard from a lot of people it wasen't good. LOL I don't know how you could of hunted in that rain yesterday gezzz.

They usually stock pheasants in Evansburg, too. Should find a few squirrels and rabbits as well.

do you know is the whole park stocked or just a few areas? can you hunt the whole park?

Everywhere there except for safety zones around houses.
Anywhere it looks like good habitat for pheasants will probably have some. There's an area on Mill Road (I think that's the name of the road), near a baseball field that's usually good.
