My daughter just got her first deer:thup:. It was a slammin 8 pointer that weighed in at 152lbs.:bow: If someone would contact me I will send them a pic to put up here...I am soooo proud!!!:D

Great Job, to daughter and DAD, too! We need to get the kids and especially the gals involved. My daugher went on her first hunt this year, she's 4 years old...

She started going with me at the age of 8. I took her when she turned 10 to get her bow license and the very first day she went out she shot a doe. Unfortunately we never found it. But at least she shot it! She hasnt been able to hunt a whole lot due to school and band competitions. She has missed one other deer, she has hunted hard and she deserved this deer...I AM SO PROUD! Sorry about the pic being blurred..guess I was to shacky...LOL

Congratulations to both her and you. Really nice buck and something she will always remember. Looks like Dad needs to have a taxidermy bill to accompany her success.

Oh yeah.....its gonna be mounted.:thup: I would have it no other way! She wants to hang it in her room...shes a great hunter...she hunts shotgun with me and the gang and sheis going rifle in W.V. next month with me and her brother:D shes daddys little girl!!!:rolleyes:
