ok guys im taking the hunting test this nov. 9 taking shot gun bow and rifle any advice to make the test easier on me and any hints for passing will be thankd

Not trying to sound like a smartass or anything, but use common sense. At least thats what I can remember all the questions being like here in Pa. You'll be fine and in the woods in no time.

Pay attention while your there...between that and using your common sense I think you'll get 100 on the test...

the class is easy. you will learn safe weapon handling, deer tracking, tree stand saftey. after you take those classes, bow, sht gun, and rifle. take the trappers course, you will love it and learn a lot in two days. even if you never lay a set, you will learn.





the real test is how you will act in the woods with no body watching.

IF YOU TAKING IT IN NJ DO NOT FORGET YOUR WORK BOOK IT MUST BE COMPLETED FOR EVERY DISCAPLIN YOUR TAKING:) remember to dress warm youll be outside alot wear comfortable shoes as youll be on your feet all day pay attention to the instructors they basicly read off the test to you dont be bashful get in line shoot first if need be if not youll be there for a while AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YOUR NOT GOIN HUNTING LEAVE YOUR CAMO AT HOME :nuts: youll be fine its not hard remember the instructers want you to pass

watch the dvd they give you and fill out everything in the book that you are asked to do. its all common sense but be prepared have everything they ask of you to bring, dont be "that guy". i helped my buddy a few years ago because he has a reading dissability, there was a lot of laws and regulation questions. i think for any firearm license you needed the required orange, and proper cases for your whatever you are using.

I was a instructor in Pa and Nj. Its pretty simple if you pay attention because we teach all the answers from the test.
