coyote or fox?

I had a snare set on a heavily used run for fox and maybe a coyote. I check the trap i had a 30 lb log attached to the snare and it was drug about 10 feet and the snare was bent a little bit and nothing was in it the snare makes it look like the neck had a 4 inch diameter. There were both coyote and fox prints there.

sounds like a deer step in to me. Canine would have been alot more than a little bent up. Fox are easy to anchor..wouldnt have moved a 30lb log and I think a coyote would have made the snare into a twist tie if he didnt blow it up.
