Spent some time on Google Earth last night & found some a new place we figured would be open & we were greeted to a lot of ice but still some water to travel. Besides shootin' like crap (mainly me), we had a great afternoon of hunting. Saw more ducks than we could have ever imagined. Hundreds of pintails, a few hundred blackies & a few hundred mallards. It truly was a sight & I certainly was not prepared decoy wise :D. Next time we're gonna need a couple dozen! Might help. Oh well, ended up with our blackie each & dad's hen mallard. Missed some other drake mallards. Coastal trip tomorrow :cool:
