Headed up to do a little salmon fishing a nd deer hunting as the rifle seaason opens early up there. Salmon fishing was good as usual with a ton of people. Went to our property thurs. afternoon to put up blinds and stands walking in we busted a few deer and saw some good sign. The morning sit was uneventful busting deer on the way in. The afternoon was slow until around 6:00 I turn around and low and behold i see a deer around 75 yards through the trees. I put the scope on him and see he has antlers. I just had to christen my new 30-06 man that gun is sweet dropped him like a sack of potatoes. :thup:
