Big 8 Down!!

Sat morning got a beautiful 8! Gave me a great 12 yd quartering away shot. Put it high left into the lungs came out right in the corner crease. Ran a total of 50 yds. Best part of this hunt was my brother was there to enjoy it with me. And thanks to the pixels or just the way you can see pictures here I look half chinese and half creature from the black lagoon.

The buck was harvested at 9:41am in WMU 5C (Pa). I'm thinking he'll score in the upper 120's hopefully very low 130's. I haven't scored him yet, but I'm going to try to. Thank you everyone for your complements.

I first saw him at about 9:30am. I watch him rub a tree for about 10 mins and took the shot at 9:40. I was hunting a funnel that lead into a bedding area.

Hmmm. I dont know whats going on behind my house. All the big bucks split right after the velet came off. Only seeing small bucks now.

But I should know better most of the nice bucks I shot were between 10am and 12noon. It just sucks sitting that long.

I think this year I'm going to go in the tree about 9:30am and staying until 2
