had my cage traps all out this weekend and nothin hit it yesturday but today i go out and the first one is set off and the bait is stolen but not activity inside of the cage. second is set off too and the baits gone, inside of the trap is completely torn up, poop inside and all. deffinite racooon in there. the door was completely bent and nearly broken :mad: freakin thing bent the door and got out! im gonna put a snare in front of them from now on.

i had to take a 3/8 rebar and bend into a U to stop them from pushing under the door.
then had to weld a piece of sheet metal on the door, they could unlock it. and they can't see out that was, i feel they fight it less.
then i had to wire the back panel on better, they turned their attention on that instead of the door.

cheaper to be a good cage the first time.

your right, i shoulda just gone with something a little better, but i figured id be able to get away with the cheaper kind. ill have to make it work, no use in throwing them away
