Spent the weekend in 3B and saw 8 different bucks. A couple really nice 10s, three 8s, a huge 7, a nice 6 and saw a 5 pointer and spike sparring. The 6 pointer was tailing a doe. I even rattled in a 110" 8-pointer but he hung up and about 40 yards and never closed the distance. I had a 130" class buck behind the cabin for a while Friday night but the trail camera didn't take any pictures.

Also had two bears at the cabin.

Saw them in the PM. Except the 8 pointer I rattled in. That was around 8:00am.

It's getting to be that time of year when you mysteriously get a 3 day stomach virus and can't come into work :D:D.

Scott

I pass you on I80 / I180 on my way to New York for deer. Pretty country.

Compared to South Jersey, it's all stood up on edge though. We give meaning to the term 'Flat Land Tourists'.

Barnes, I hunted sullivan co. for 20 years. Stayed at the red fox motel and hung out at the mountain house, swiss chalet, and the pine tavern. (not very exciting places)

Hunted Masonite until we hooked up with a local and started to drive land he was a care taker of. I miss it up there.:(

Do you mean Colley?

We used to eat at the Red Fox on 220 every weekend for breakfast. I always got the #3. Two eggs over easy, sausage, home fries and toast. I'll never forget that place. Lunch and dinner was the Green Swan. Cheeseburger, fries and rice pudding.

Yes my buddy just bought 26 acres there. I am going to hunt it next season. Is it a decent area?
