when out this morning with a buddy of mine in the the river we ended up with 4- teal and 2- blackys.... saw a few pin tails ....... havent seen them this early in a while but it was a good hunt....

Saw a bunch a megansers, one small flock of teal but they shyed away last second...

Had our limit (GW Teal) in about 30mins of shooting. We didn't even know the dog was retrieveing we were shooting so much. He had them piled up like a cord of wood behind the boat. We stopped shooting to work him on retrieves and seen he got them all but a couple he had swim for:D
After the first shot my gun malfunctioned and I was reduced to a single shot,but that only makes me a better shot. One shot one kill:D

Awesome morning, only problem was the 9am low tide that left us with a 100yard boat push in 3ft deep mud:thdown: Still got home in time for the kids soccer game.

Nice fellas...wish i was out. I stayed home to put the new rig together, was a last minute purchase this past weekend...

ohhhhh sounds like you need a surface drive mud motor....those things are sweet!

We had a lot of flight right around shooting time, couple of flocks of woodies came close but they wouldn't cooperate. ended the day with 7 teal 5 drakes. Dog did a great job.

Wasn't a very good morning. Only managed 2 teal in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. BUt at least we were out hunting.

We managed 18. 2 teal, 1 gadwall, 5 black ducks, and 10 mallards. Could have had a few more if we were not out of the blind handling the dog. Fresh duck breast on the grill baby...

Friend of mine, Ed Arentz, had hunt scouted out and he was right. Three of us shot 2 Black ducks, 2 pintails, 13 green wing. Had about 40 GW come in at once. Didn't loose any birds, had a good dog. Most happened early, quit around 8:30.

yea all my birds came in about sunrise we didnt get and early shooting. but they were still flying when i left at about 9:30 or so it sounds like everyone had a great day!!!
