20 guage h&r slug question

Dose anyone know which slug shoots the best out of a h and r slug gun, maybe i can save a little denaros and small beating, thanks fellas :thup:

Every gun is a little different. Ive had the .20 ga H&R ultra slug hunter for 5 yrs now...absolutely love it!...tried 3 or 4 different slugs. Im going with the Lightfield hybrid exp ( 2 3/4 ) 1 in groups at 50 yds....about 2 to 3 in groups at 100 yds.:D...have a simmons 2 x10 scope on her also. I recommend putting a good scope on it. Its a nail driver!

I shot the lightfield's too and i shot 2 inch groups at 100 yards. I can hit those big deer way off. I shot a 6 pointer at 60 yards, I aimed for the spine and hit the spine.

I have had an H&R Ultra Slug Hunter for 7-8 years and also shoot Lightfield slugs. They group like a rifle out to 125 yds.
I don't think you can get a better set up for shotgun deer hunting for the money!

if the lightfields do not group well try the hornady's sst slug i personally shoot hasting slugs but i am shooting a custom 3 1\2 inch load out my h and r

i also shot the lightfields in the 12 and the 20 and my pops shots the lightfields they seem to shot the best out of all my h@r's

dam, my h&r 12 ga. ultra slugger doesnt shoot those lightfields for sheet. she likes the sst's.

i just happen to wonder into butch gun world today and holy sheet they had 2 boxes of my 3 1\2 inch 20 gauge for my custom h and r i was so happy figure ui will save them for when i go out of state
