I just went to look at a lease off of piney lane rd. and was wondering if anyone else has ever hunted in that area before. The owner has alot of land but says that he has a hard time keeping guys interested in leasing it and i didnt know if they was a reason why.

Are talking about Piney Hollow Road?

What is the land like and how much is the lease? I'd be a bit concerned that he can't keep guys interested in leasing it given how hard it is to get private land in this area.

I believe I know of the piece and I know there used to be good hunting there. I also know a guy who used to lease it and he gave it up because the guy would not lease the whole property to him alone. If it is piney hollow

Piney lane road is off of Piney Hollow road.....Their are definately deer there but he may have a hard time keeping a lease because of the activity of the surrounding landowners and gun clubs in the area.....That is not a secluded piece of property and alot of locals know about it....If I were a betting man I would say who ever leases it gets out of it because of all the problems.....If you want to talk more about it email me....

I don't know how much they own but the Diocese owns a chunk of that piece off of Victoria ave.. They gave Piney Hollow GC rights to hunt it and those guys have had a lot of issues with members and trespassers.

If you look at it from Tuckahoe rd. side , across from Garoppos house, I know of a bunch of people who go in from that way.

On the south end of it I here of guys going in from the houses across from where Bluebell rd. hits Tuckahoe.

There are farm fields on all sides of it that I know people have permission to hunt or already lease and it nothing but problems.

I have a buddy who leases a LOT of property in that area he also owns a big chunk off of Piney Hollow. Another friend of mine got a nice non typical off of one of his leases this year.

If you feel like being a security guard/hunter go for it, there are some great deer in there but to me its not worth it.

When I worked down there a few guys I worked with knew a bunch of guys from the Inskip and Piney Hollow Gun Clubs and they never had much good to say about what they were doing.

Pretty much their first morning drives were to pick up what they shot the night before.

I will not say his name but I had a member get heated telling me it was tougher trophy hunting at night. Needless to say hes not a member anymore.
