convention was good. good numbers. guys spending. Newt is a trip.
got a little windy over there.
i left newt with a little money. got upbowhunter the material for 100 snares. got myself a cage from newt.

just looking at the calender in front of me, next monday starts the fun. come on blue coon!

my fun started today....sorta. started raining/sleeting after noon up there. Afraid some sets mighta been washed out...not sure. Not much coon sign, but I set on habitat more than anything. Lots of beaver and otter sign.

Plenty of coyotes out that way. Got in half a dozen canine sets. Weather slowed me down some. Didnt get everything I wanted to set done.

I'm back at work for our opener...probably wont set Nj until the 20th again.

Drew blanks! Not really all that surprised. Talked to another trapper from the area and he did the same....maybe the weather..maybe just very few coon around there.

Got in another half dozen canine sets today. And the first ones to look pretty good I thought.
