Can someone tell me if I kill two does in zone 65 can I still hunt a buck or am I tagged out for 65. I want to shoot a 2nd doe in zone 25 but I am also hunting zone 65. I do not want to be tagged out for 65

check the division web paige http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/ if you tag 2 in 65 your done. although through out the regular season you may hunt any zone so if you kill a doe in 25 you tag it in 25 and you can still shoot one more deer in 65 and unlimited does in 25

blackpowder,

Are you 100% sure about that? I always thought it was that way also. I hunt numerous zones including 25, 35, 55 ... 25 and 35 are unlimited antlerless and I was always under the assumption that the deer I tagged in those zones had no bearing on the two deer I was able to tag in 55. However, I was told otherwise earlier this year while shooting at the local sports shop.

Gentleman told me that if I take two deer out of 25 that I'm legally tagged out in 55?

Haven't had to worry about it yet this year but have been meaning to find out the definite answer.

season bag limit for zone 25 is one antlered and unlimited antlerless limit for 65 is 2 does or one of each so if you shoot the second doe youll be done in 65 until novemeber for permit bow. read right out of the book

PHil I am not sure, the way i read the book and understand it is in zone 65 you are allowed 2 and others like 25 you are allowed unlimited does and 1 buck. What is to stop me fro aquring ground in 65 or one of the zones like that after I tag 2. It is a different zone, although I can be wrong.

if it was at the glassboro shop, forget everything you heard!:D
i've had too many problems with that place, bad service, bad advise.
when they get down off the high horse, maybe they will see how the customers feel about them.

call fish and game.
i have had f+g tell me, what they said in that store is 100% wrong.
