Well I just returned from A bow hunting trip from Illinios. What a trip full moon hot wheather:(. Deer didnt want to move. And when they did it was in moon light Grrrrrrr! My guide was working his hardest to get me on the deer moved from stand to stand and finally a shooter buck. I was sitting in a revein when about 150 yards out I see the horns. He comes in to about 60 yards and he is standing behind a deer. when a doe starts to blow and blow and blow. Looked back to see if I could see her ( was going to have my entry to the free trip if I did :D) But no luck looked back to where the buck was and bammm I dint see him:fight:. Talk about wanting to find that doe now. Well settle down and about 45 min. later I see him again. He was bedded dowm behind the tree where I couldnt see him. He came into about 45 yards I looked to see if he scored and let an arrow go. Was going right for the vital and bam in ricochetted of a branch and hit him right in the rump. he ran about 55 yards and i heard him go down. Let him lay until morning and there he was got both veins in the hams. Thank god for those spitfire mechanicals hard to get away from those 1 1/2 blades. :thup:

Nice Buck:thup: This moon sucks. I haven't been out since sat morning and it has been dead around my area.

Nice job!!:thup: The deer seem to move all night under the moon light then mid day, just never did well around the full moon.:thdown:

my friend took a shot at a nine point last week and it richiched of a branch the same way but it completely missed the deer:eek:

Glad its going away. I am going to NY for opening day sat. to try for another. Is going to be cool per the wheather pople:D

There are plenty of them there. My guide told me to come next year the first or fourth week in Oct. next year. said they are awsome one the calls at the end of Oct. Wish you luck bring home a big one:D
