Hunt4life...totally agree. Bought one a couple years ago and couldn't be happier. Very accurate and inexpensive. Only drawback is it's weight, but that also makes the recoil very easy to handle.

i think im gona get the H&R ultra slug hunter deluxe....what would be a good load for it?

Try a few different ones..see which fly the best out of your gun. Get a good scope for it too. Im using the lightfield sabots. 2 to 3 inch groups @ 100 yds!...1 inch groups @ 50yds.:thup:

Look at the H&R USH compact. I got one for my son when he was 12. He has been using it for 3 years now. It's a great shooter, doesnt recoil much and is much better ballanced than the other USH models. The short stock is great for young hunters or adults wearing heavy clothing. He and I both love that gun.
