Its a tree stand that hangs from the tree like a swing. Cost $200 plus. Figure a few new product reviews could help all. Ok this review goes on a scale 1-10, 10 being best. Comfort, 10 is a loggy, 8 is a summit, 6 is my lone wolf, the tree saddle gets a 2. Based on a all day sit. Used it for the first time tonight for 3 hours and about two hours were ok last hour was work for sure. Weight the saddle gets a ten, the loggy a 1, the saddle is about as heavy as a safty harness. Shooting out of, saddle gets a 3, could not draw my bow on my right side, (i am right handed) left side was great for drawing and aiming. Remember you face the tree hanging from a safty rope. Allitle pratice and it may be possible, but I could not do it tonight. Will I use again, thats a 10, any tree you can climb you can set up in, thats a major plus over a climber, but would limit my time to 2-3 hours max. If you want to hit a spot right before dark and had tree steps set up, you just climb and clip in. your ready and much better than carrying a climber its like putting on a harness and your ready. Overall, hard to say yet, first try tonight. Got mine for $75 bucks as a refurb at cabelas bargin cave, For $75 bucks I like it, so far. If I payied $200 plus, I would not be happy right now.the tree saddle Will not replace my lone wolf for sure, but it is a tool for hunting trees other stands cannot. So final rating is a 3 out of ten. If I shoot my buck out of it this year, its a 10 for sure!
