Saturday Morning Report "Great Action"

Hunted with my buddy in Pa. today. The Morning was slow, so we tried a little push.

:eek: Deer came running out all over the place. 2 Monster bucks and about 20 doe.

Took a shot at a doe standing broad side and skimmed her back...:huh:

That was the 3rd deer I missed by going over its back.. Came home and shot the target and was 4 to 5 inches high.:thdown:

Not sure what happened but it was off bad. Hopefully Im ready for the big bucks now.

sometimes a gentle push is fun, not a all out drive.
last time i did a bow push i saw the biggest deer of the year, and it was on my property/yard.
your having a tough time with the missing. if it was easy we wouldn't have crossbows next year.:D

i had the worst two days this season.
friday had a atv at prime time scare all the deer out of the field, private land.
saturday morning walking in had a buck push a doe too me, i was still walking in, it was 5:15am. she blew for 10 minutes. no deer seen on sit.
afternoon, nothing moving.
