1) Did you test the camara first at home?
Set it up against the couch and walk by it to see that it is taking pics.
2) The camara should be closer then 15 yds away from the feed pile. Most camaras dont detect that far out. Try walking in front of it at different distances to see how far it detects.
3) Its possibly aimed wrong. Make sure the eye is angled at the appropriate height that a deer will be at.

hope this helps out...let us know....you may have a defective camara there bud?

What hunt4life said. Reread the instructions since some can be confusing. When in doubt reset to default settings. Also check the manufacturer's website for any updates, drivers, etc that may be needed. Test it, test, it and then test it again at home.

I just went the the spot today and set it up, i walked around until i got rite on top of it and then i checked the card and the furthest shot it took was 15 yards and thats all i wanted. Thanks for the advice. Ill let you guys know if the camera captures any deer.

Glad to hear ya got it working. good sound advice from others above. I just put my first camera in(first time using them) on wednesday and checked it yesterday. Had over 50 pics all deer. I can see how the camera thing can be addicting. Nick

go into the "deer hunting" forum. i started a thread last night titled "1st time using game camera.
my camera is the wildgame innovations. model is the Ir3c. think it was 79 or 89. had to get batteries(a few bucks) and a a SD card (12$).
dicks has the ir5 model on sale now for 99 ( i think) and it comes with the batteries and the sd card.
i've read reviews where some guys complained about the night pics being blurry or fuzzy. I have no complaints. these photos arent being framed...:D I just want to know what time the deer are coming in and whether its a buck or doe. I dont need the photo to be a "kodak moment".

Jus follow the directions about how to use em ....face them north or south NOT east or west. mine is facing south. I went with the infared(ir) instead of the flash b/c the flash may draw some unwanted attention (people).

Hope this helps.

I just got some rut n apples and a corn and molasses lick and put it out with corn all around it. MAybe this will help, i also put it on the edge of the field instead of out in the middle. I think this will help the deer come now because who wants to eat something in the middle of a field vs. one the edge right next to cover. I also am putting my trail cam acouple feet next to it instead of 15 yds. out. And Nitrous SwampRat, My brother has had that trail cam for a year and its great. Wonderful night and day time pictures. He is considering buying another one. I just purchased the new Primos Truth Cam 60. Its 60ft. IR and ill post some pictures when i get some. A logger came to my spot and started chopping trees down and deer have gone away and have gone nocturnal. I have a picture of a guy checking out my camera and my blind. I got lucky with that one. So yea anyone that has any comments or anything please ad them. Thanks

Yep for the money im satisfied. mine is about 28" off the ground. Mine has some natural brush behind it and on the sides to conceal from deer and people.

I havent had that many pictures to really know the quality but as far as i am concerned, its a great camera. The pictures are great. Battery life is alright but thats because i have it set on 60 led's, on 7mp and have the sensor on high. Its a great camera overall so far. Let me know if you get it.. Thanks
