Went out with 3 hunting buddys and My dog Beretta and (2) of his puppys from a liter last year that each of my buddys took. Very cool to see Father and Sons making retrieves together. All birds were taken over water and about half expired to my calling and the other half from jumpin em. Very cool to see my boy retrieving some bling too. We ended the day with 11 for 4 guys and 1 band. All dogs made retrieves and we have a killer shore lunch.

And had my first a run in with a property owner of 2010. I had my rangefinder on me like always and she was blah blah blah your gonna get arrested blah blah and I yelled back to her that I had my yardage gizmo and yelled to her she was standing 160 yds from me and her house was another 30 yds behind her. She called me and said she was callin the warden and I added please call him and I will come over to talk to him no probs. Well few hours go by and we are packing up to leave and to my surprise she comes out again and yells over shes sorry she cursed at me and she never said I wasnt allowed to hunt there I almost laughed in her face, warden must have set her straight about messing with hunters. I told her it was all good and moved on always remain the bigger person.

Plus the views were amazing!

w8n4adeer - NO lol....I was gonna bring some goose I have prepared from last season that I do kaboob style wrapped in bacon, they are killer but forgot to thaw them. Most of my hunts are all day and we always bring the grill.....

njbowhunter - versatile breed man.... He will point woodcock, grouse, chukkar, pheasants and quail all day long. I volunteered him last year at a youth hunt and he pointed about 25-30 pheasants in morning and afternoon hunts for the kids......
