im thinking about buying a remington 1100 from a friend its the sporting model. it has the factory remington extended chokes does anyone know if them are inerchanable with regular flush remchokes?

Yes, they interchange. They are still RemChoke in configuration. The extended choke tubes are sometimes found on the Sporting models.
