Great buck. I wonder what he would look like in another year. The genetics of a large rack are there, but the drop tine seems to point to an immage in my mind that he won't get any more points on top unless they are non-typical. I saw a nice buck taken behind my friends house of a deer 3 1/2 years old that had great beams with 1 point on each side. A typical y buck you say, not quite. The beams came all the way around, thick and heavy, just no brow tines and no points except the very ends. Now don't get me wrong, I also hope the next picture of that buck has you in it, but if not, maybe he will get better or maybe not. :huh: Great buck either way, good luck and shoot straight. :D

If I shot him I would call him a big six with a drop. There are a lot of nine pointers that guys call 8 to show how bib an 8 can get.

ok thanx im not a score kinda guy. i shoot count points and thats that. were gettin too high tech so to speak on deer i guess. hes huge for my neck of the woods and would call him a 7 with a cool drop tine .all the scoreing and stuff makes it too commercial for me. like the guys on tv. guess im gettin old.lol. thanx for clearin it up. i never measured a deer i harvested and got 1 that should b.

and what was wrong with my answer? i couldnt score a deer if i tried, a couple guys i know do all that and i just blow it off . a big deer is a big deer.id drive him to every camp and compare my deer to theres is how we scored a whooper:D

This is the forth year we have seen this deer with a nice rack. My guess is he has to be 6 years old.

sorry term, the six pissed off dogs are now 10 pissed off wolfs, and the deer repellent factory is now a explosive test center! You prick! see you saterday! Term, Set up a new stand for you, its tree over a parking lot with six hornet nests in it. Put out a big pile of gravel for you as bait....( we are good friends and this is just fun). Term killed the only buck at our camp opened day last year. In fact he saw the only deer opening day morning last year and hung it! he gets to hunt in the explosive plant for sure this year.

yup, my friend chris ran down there like one of his family members died. Hes the one who has really been after this deer.
