What do you guys use other then bait, to attract those monsters into the area? I always see on VS C'mere deer, but never tried anything but tinks in the pre-rut and bait. Thoughts?

Used the c'mere deer and didn't see any monster bucks like they say. Used it on the corn and all that came in were baby's and small does no bucks. I guess my area isn't the right area for that type of bait.

I use salt blocks and crack corn to take pictures before the season. It helps to see whats around, but you can't bait during the season up here. I use no scents during the season because i have never had any luck with them. I have rattled and grunted in bucks. Rattling seems best for me around the 2nd week of november and grunting works any time or at least will not make them run.

Used only Tinks "Doe in Estruse" No Bait and downed a real nice buck.Pic's are in the bowhunting reports.I used the Tinks Tuesday to cover any of my scent than attract this earlly in the season but it worked like magic the buck was comming my way anyway but I think the Tinks realy got him comin. He made a bee line for it about 25 yards out with no hesatation then stood directly under it for about 5 seconds till my arrow hit him.

This has not been the first time the Tinks worked for me.I hunted in NJ as a member of the Atlantic County Game Preserve in zones 45/46 and had the same results in the pines as I do here in 5C with the stuff. Stick with it,

By the way throw last years stuff out and use fresh. "THEY" say it makes a big dfference I always have used Golden Estruse???? anyway its in a gold labeled bottle.

My buddy swears by it too he shot some real nice bucks in heavely hunted public game lands here in 5C.Basically the same story buck zeroed right in on the stuff

By the way how's the striper action? I hear the bass are just start'n to make up under bunker.Any recent news?

Thanks Ridge,

The action has been ok but certainly not the best. A few short bass here and there the last couple of weeks for us, no keepers yet. Had a 27 and alittle more but the migratory bass should arrive towards the end of this month depending on how cold the water gets.

If there`s not A monster in the Area to begin with then you won`t be able to bait one in,your best bet for a nice rack im sure you no,is during the rut! My favorite sent is Tinks 69! Ive had Great results!

I bought the hype and got some C'Mere Deer spray. I've sprayed it over the corn, apples and surrounding plants at our feeder upstate. I have seen no difference in the deer activity.

I don't know, if you spray something on corn and the deer eat it, you can't rule out that they are attracted to the corn.

Scott, i told ya the trick...gotta get the "concentrate" don't dilute it, collect all the acorns you can get, soak em in the concentrate and spread em all around your stand a couple days before opening day :D
