Georgia Pig Hunt

Headed to Georgia the first week of March for my first pig hunt. Every thing is all set up and all I have to do is show up. Going down with jonny one shot. They had A good hunt down there this past February. !! LOOK OUT PIGGIES HERE I COME !! :fight:

Sounds fun. I've heard if you want to do a good hog hunt go to Georgia.

i was in georga last feburay and we brong home seven hogs all nice size it was a lot of fun cant wait until this year:)

Just bought a H&R 20 gauge slug gun, also taking my shotgun for shooting buck shot.

No one is going in with a pistol? If I where to go that how I thought I'd do it. Their laws for hogs in Georgia are very liberal.

Dont own a pistol. We will be hunting at night out of box stands over top of corn feeders.

ACE Get this the guy that owns the place told jonny one shot and the guys that went with him to shoot some little ones. Needles to say they did not shoot any and the guy actually got a little pissed at them. !! THATS WHAT THE BUCKSHOT IS FOR !! ;)

hunted for hogs in Blackstock S.C. this past May, used dogs and bowie knives, talk about a rush, you really get up close and personnal when you go pig sticking.

I went to Georgia a few years back hog hunting. I shot a 250lb black hog with 4" tusks. Very cool experiance. I had it mounted and hanging in the living room. I got married now its in the garage.:huh:

I had dozens of mounts before my wife and they ALL stayed.

I keep all my gear in the basement. The garage is like my cave anyway. I got tv, frig, running water, heat and phone out there. I have my deer mounts in the living room above the mantel.:D The hog took a back seat to the garage with the scull caped bucks. Its no so bad, I spend more time out there then in the house.

We just came back from Blackstock. My son and I got one each. He did the knife thing. I used my old shotgun with foster slugs Got alot of good eating.We are going back in October for a deer and pig combo.

Well here are the results. Im the only one that didnt get a shot at a pig. Six people 2 pigs around 60 pounds dressed. Should of had eight pigs. LOTS OF MISSES.....:huh:

We were just down there. I work for Jay off and on. Nice place. We were there working bulldogs last week. Friends with the family.
